In 2007, Enviro-Brite founder, Dean Wiltse of Wiltse’s Family Restaurant and Brew Pub in Oscoda, Michigan, decided to use his educational background in chemistry to develop his own line of environmentally friendly cleaning products aimed primarily at the foodservice and brewing industry. With 27 years of experience in cleaning every corner of his own 8,000 square foot business, Dean knew the difference between quality cleaning products and those that were watered down so they appeared to be cheaper. He also recognized the principle that without cleanliness no restaurateur could possibly have a successful business and satisfied, repeat customers.
As a businessman, Dean understood that no one wants to pay more than necessary even for quality products that get the job done in a first class way. Through his own in-house testing, he learned that he could manufacture the best performing products for substantially less cost than brand name manufacturers who spend millions just on promoting their image which the customers ultimately pay for.
In 2008, Dean decided to take on his newest and greatest challenge and hired the services of an experienced and respected PhD chemist. Together, their mission was to produce the best performing cleaning product line possible utilizing the greenest ingredients as currently being approved by the EPA.
With the help and support of his wife, Debbie, and sons, Eric and Luke, along with friends Dave Olpere, John Miner, Jim Brucksch, Christine York and Julie Carroll, the new Enviro-Brite Solutions team went to work setting up production, packaging and distribution of the finest, environmentally safe and most cost effective cleaning products currently available.
In the initial start-up phase, team member John Miner, as sales and marketing representative, returned to the shop each day with product samples from customers looking both to save money and improve performance over the cleaning products they were using at the time. Dean spent long hours cross testing his own products against samples of what was most commonly being used in commercial businesses as well as in the home. And in every case, he found ways to improve on what the product was supposed to accomplish while lowering the cost to the customer.
Research and development continues. The Enviro-Brite line has grown from an initial 7 specialized cleaning products to over 35 at present, and is growing weekly.
As custom formulators, Enviro-Brite Solutions can help save you money and make your home or business “greener” at the same time! |
